Skywatch Friday: Year End Sign?

Sign Seen in Flagstaff, AZ 12-14-08 by Kathiesbirds

This sign is posted on Beulah Blvd in Flagstaff, AZ near the hotel we stayed in when we took my mother back to the train. In the background you can see one of the peaks of the San Fransisco Mountains with a fresh blanket of snow. It seems an appropriate photo for the end of 2008 with the New Year upon us. May all your Dead Ends be "Temporary" in 2009!

Happy New Year!

This is a funny or odd Sign. May all our dead ends dissolve so we may see what is really before us.

Happy New Year.

What a lovely wish Kathie, temporary dead ends where we find our right path again.
I've just come back from our pondand got a couple of shots at ourelusive heron befor all the water dries up, also some very shy green Parrots/Lorikeets? unidentified as yet. Yippee!
I wish you birds, birds and more birds for the coming year,
Hugs.

Nice to know the dead end is only temporary. LOL
I don't have a lot to say about last year or this new year. Some thoughts...

I hope 2009 will be better than 2008, 2007, and 2006. I do think our government will be inspired by our new President Obama -- at least I hope so.

I would like to see the War in Irag end and I would like to see the killing stop everywhere.

It is my hope that Japan will stop slaughtering whales and raping virgin forests.

And I hope the people will lose their clubs and no longer club baby seals to death.

What a world we have and live in. 2009 could be so much better than it will be.

I wonder why temporary, they must be extending the roadway, mmm. My thoughts are with Abraham Lincoln, I like the way he puts it. Happy New Year.

Hi Kathie, I am looking forward to a much better 2009. I think we are, once again, headed in the right direction for the conservation and betterment for our planet.

I look forward to more people becoming environmentally aware and youngsters growing up with an appreciation of how they can help save and even better our environment.

Have a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

Love the snow-capped mountain peak - and the sign. Kind of a great intro into the New Year - knowing that the road blocks we may have hit this year were only temporary.

Happy New Year!
