Well, it's official. I've bought my plane ticket and paid for my trip. I am actually going to the New River Birding and Nature Festival in Fayetteville West Virginia at the end of April. I have never been to a bird festival before in my life, so this will be a new experience for me. I am joining seven other bird bloggers whom I have yet to meet but I feel like most of them are friends already! We'll be birding and blogging away each day and laughing our butts off at night. I can't wait for the photographs of the bloggers and the fun they will be having. Oh...a couple of bird pictures would be nice as well.

That's cool that you're going to New River, Kathie. You'll be over in MY neck of the woods! My hubby and I camped in New River a couple of years ago - it's a beautiful place. One day maybe I will attend myself (too many other outings planned this year, though). Have TONS of fun!
Thanks for your well wishes everyone! Pray, hope, think and meditate on good weather, especially for flying! Nina has graciously offered to pick me up at the airport and give me a ride. I look forward to meeting so many of my blogging buddies and I'm also scared to death!
