Gorgeous blooms and a perfect sky! Awesome photo, Kathie!
This is lovely, and I thank you for sharing Desert Willows with skywatchers.
To be able to display such lively color in such scorching heat is a testament to Mother Nature.
Fabulous new hair style Mrs A-B.
I can't believe that these seemingly fragile flowers are still blooming in that heat.
I've never seen one before. What a delicate flower, does it have a scent?
thank you everyone for your comments!
In answer to your question, Arija, yes, they do have a lovely and delicate fragrance that perfumes the night air. It attracts nectar feeding moths at night. The flowers also come in different colors on different trees from light pink to a deep wine or purple.
