We stopped by Inspiration Point near the Roosevelt Dam on our way home from our anniversary weekend in Payson, AZ. It was 108 degrees F and very windy when Gus took these pictures. Please click on the pictures to enlarge for the best view.

The first photo looks like a frame around a painting. Great photos, but you need more sleep, my friend!

I thought that first image was a mural. What a cool bridge and view.

Photo #1 looks like a painting. And I love seeing #2 to get "the rest of the story." Beautiful!

Like your other readers, my first impression was a mural painted on a wall. Then with your second shot it brought the whole thing into focus. I really love it. - Margy

Kathie both images are stunning but the first with those thick white clouds really impresses me!
I have taken the time to catch up on your previous posts and I have to tell you AZ has the BEST sunsets..I remember them from my time there during my winter getaways!
Oh Kathie 108 degrees...HELP!!
My son who lives in Scottsdale comes here to cool off..at best we'll get to 85F...but it's very humid here!
Stay cool!

Nature Girl, I know you love this place. 108 sounds bad and it was very hot but not unbearable for me. I guess I have goten used to it. Humidity is what would drive me crazy! Maine is cool like Canada but sometimes it also gets hot and humid. No fun. I remember one time when we lived there getting up in the middle of the night during the summer when it was so hot and humid that we couldn't sleep. We had no AC so we just got in the car and drove around for an hour with the windows down to cool off!
