- Hello! My name is Kathie and I am a passionate eBirder. I first started documenting the bird species I was seeing in Sycamore Canyon, a neighborhood in Corona de Tucson, Arizona in 2007. In 2008 I started my first blog. Since then I have moved several times and I now bird all over the United States. I submit all of these sightings to a program called eBird administered by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Sorry I have also not been around. Son's family were down for Christmas and they worked like beavers. Karl cut down two huge pines that were robbing my garden of water and nourishment here on the farm and another monster in out Mt.Lofty garden that was starting to block the driveway with its massive girth. The whole family helped and they staced it into piles for burning in the winter.
We've had a few fires set by aronists within 10 miles of us but luckily nothing major up to now. Don't worry, having survived one we realize that only life is important. When you have that, all else is achievable.
